- Provide assistance and support to Spring Creek Association to monitor and
treat noxious weeds

Greenbelts- Provide support to Spring Creek Association to
inventory noxious weeds within greenbelt areas

Provide assistance and support to Spring Creek Association to monitor and

Spring Creek Association Road Right of Ways- Volunteers continue to monitor and treat weeds along
adopted roadsides

Elko County Funding for Noxious Weed Control-
Provide support to Spring Creek Association as they request noxious weed
control funding from the Elko County Commissioners to assist with road right
of way weed control within the Spring Creek Association
South
Fork Reservoir State Park:

Assistance- Work cooperatively with SF State Park to control
noxious weeds in the South Meadow
Private
Property Assistance:
-
Cost Share Noxious Weed Program-
Provide cost share program to pre approved private land owners living within
the boundaries of the SCRCWMA, Inc. Our financial contribution will be 50/50
but will not exceed $200.00 per land owner. Reimbursement is dependent upon
private land owner’s submission of an Assistance Application, receipts for
labor or herbicide, number of acres treated, and number of volunteer hours
(if any)

Dyer’s Woad Control- Continue treating and providing assistance to
private property owners with Dyer’s Woad living around the Spring Creek
Association Marina

Private Property Assistance-
Provide use agreement and needed supplies to homeowners to treat noxious
weeds

Reseeding-
Provide weed free seed and planting instructions to
property owners

Neighborhood Weed Control Program-
Continue to introduce and expand
Inventory and Mapping

Early Detection- Continue inventory and mapping within the SCRCWMA
boundaries

Weed Control – Begin using GPS to document areas where weeds were

Annual Elko County Clean & Green and Spring Creek Pride Day- Participate in these annual events

Continue updating our website, writing articles, and sending out newsletters

weeds at trail heads at Spring Creek Association Campground and Rifle Range,
near equestrian center at Spring Creek Horse Palace, along the trail at
Spring Creek Marina, at various locations at South Fork Reservoir State Park
